Transforming Health and Resilience for Individuals, through Vibrant Empowerment Field Clinic

Community health sensitization session in Nasarawa State.

THRIVE is CCCRN's flagship multi-sectoral community initiative designed to uplift vulnerable households by integrating clinical healthcare, economic empowerment, and household nutrition support.
CONTEXT

The Challenge

Health outcomes cannot be sustained in isolation from socio-economic hardship. Families facing acute food insecurity or lacking stable livelihoods struggle to maintain treatment adherence or access preventive maternal and child health services.

The gap between national health policies and localized implementation creates a critical vulnerability. When communities lack ownership and immediate access to resources, entire health systems struggle to function effectively under pressure.

55%

of vulnerable households experience seasonal nutritional instability.

3x

increase in school attendance when health and household economic supports are combined.

OUR APPROACH

Community-Led Interventions

By partnering with local community development associations, women's savings groups, and primary schools, THRIVE builds local ownership.

Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLA) to empower female caregivers.
Nutritional education and localized infant supplementary feeding programs.
Educational subsidies and scholastic materials distribution for vulnerable children.
Home-based healthcare visits and routine immunization referrals.
